Yo. man charged with child exploitation

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A U.S. attorney announced Tuesday that a Youngstown man has been charged with sexually exploiting a child, according to a release from attorney’s office.

Stephen Fleischer, 29, of Youngstown, was charged last week with sexual exploitation of a child, transferring obscenity to a minor and transportation of a minor, according to United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio Steven Dettelbach.

The Indictment charges that in the spring of 2014, Flesicher attempted to persuade a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct and sent sexually explicit pictures over the internet.

The case was investigated by the Youngstown FBI office and the Austintown Police Department.
