COLUMBUS, Ohio (WYTV)-Multiple published reports say that Youngstown native Tim Beck will be named the Ohio State offensive coordinator after the Buckeyes play in the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday.

Beck is a Mooney graduate and has been the offensive coordinator at Nebraska for the last four years, and has been with the Cornhuskers since 2008. He was also in the running to be the offensive coordinator at Pitt under Ursuline graduate Tim Narduzzi.

The Buckeyes opening comes from former OC Tom Herman taking the Houston head coaching position.
