YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) — The Department of Transportation is proposing to deny the application from Aerodynamics Incorporated, or “ADI,” to conduct interstate flight service.
They found the CEO of ADI had committed fraud in making false statements to another aviation company.
33 WYTV News talked to Port Authority board member John Boccieri. While he stresses that he does not speak for the whole board of the Port Authority, he supports the Department of Transportation taking action against ADI.
“The numerous votes of lack of confidence the FAA has had in this organization and this company, then I think this is best that we don’t enter into an agreement with them,” said John Boccieri, Port Authority board member.
The Department of Transportation is giving 14 days to get responses.
As for the Port Authority, Boccierri says they will continue to explore their options for providing business travel from Youngstown-Warren to New York and Chicago.
