SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WYTV) – A truck overturned on Interstate 80 westbound Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. in Shenango Township, Pa.
The accident happened near exit 4A of the interstate. The driver, who was hauling a 45-thousand pound steel coil, appeared to have lost control getting onto I-80 from Route 376.
Traffic was never completely stopped by the accident. Both main lanes of the interstate were blocked, but motorists were able to use the entrance ramp lane to get around the crash site.
As of 3:15 p.m., traffic in the area was still moving slowly.
Emergency crews took the driver to the hospital.
