Bond revoked for woman accused of leaving children alone

Kacee moser entered a plea deal Tuesday feb 3

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Beaver Township mother awaiting trial for leaving her 9-month-old and 3-year-old children alone and strapped to their car seats is back inside the Mahoning County Jail.

Kacee R. Moser, 24, of South Avenue, was picked up U.S. Marshals on Monday and booked into the Mahoning County Jail. She is ordered to stay there until further notice from the court.

A bench warrant was issued for Moser after she was charged with trespassing in Conneaut, Ohio on Jan.1, which is a violation of the terms of her bond.

A pretrial in the child endangering case is scheduled for Feb. 3 with a jury trial to commence on Feb. 9.

Moser is charged with third-degree felony abduction and two misdemeanor counts of child endangering in a June 2013 incident where a friend who became concerned for the welfare of Moser’s children alerted police. She said Moser was working 12-hour shifts and didn’t know where the children were.

The friend and police went to Moser’s home where they found the two children in the living room alone in their car seats.

This isn’t fist time Moser’s bond has come under the attention of the court. She was accused of not cooperating with a Mahoning County Children Services case worker in October 2013.
