YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Mill Creek MetroParks is offering a welcome reprieve from the snow and ice.
Just step inside the visitor center at Fellows Riverside Gardens and feast your eyes on hundreds of vibrant colors. It’s the annual Jewels of Winter Orchid exhibit.
Over 100 varieties are now on display and it’s open to the public everyday but Monday now through March 16.
As part of the event, classes are being offered in how to grow a beautiful orchid.
“We are going to have two walk-in clinics in which you can bring in your plants and our volunteers will be here to diagnose any issue you have with your plants,” said Beth Molvin, Fellows Riverside Gardens.
Several classes are being offered during the exhibit. View a list and fee schedule here.
