Interstate 80 crash in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WYTV) – A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 eastbound has shut down all the lanes of travel, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

The interstate is shut down between the Ohio state line and exit 4A in New Castle, which is the Interstate 376 interchange. The crash occurred just after 10 p.m.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol also shut down Interstate 80 at Route 62 in Hubbard so no vehicles can get on the interstate heading eastbound.

The interstate is expected to reopen by 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

It does not appear that anyone was injured in the crash.
