Hadi heading to Leetonia

LEETONIA, Ohio (WYTV) – WYTV Sports has learned that Leetonia has offered its head coaching position to Hadi Hadi.

He currently serves as Varsity Wrestling Coach at Liberty High School, and has a total of 24 years of coaching experience in wrestling.

Hadi previously served as a football assistant at Liberty from 1998-2002. He later coached at Georgia State in the school’s inaugural season, serving as Wide Receiver’s Coach and Offensive Pass Coordinator.

He later returned to coach in the valley at Woodrow Wilson from 2006-2008.

Hadi will replace Matt Altomare who was 32-40 in seven seasons with the Bears. Leetonia has not had a winning season in six years, and went 1-9 last season.
