Revenue down at Austintown racino

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The latest numbers are out for Austintown’s racino, showing a decrease in revenue for January.

Hollywood Gaming said patrons played $64.6 million worth of credits in the first month of 2015. That’s a $4 million decrease from December and a $2 million decrease from November.

The biggest month so far remains October, when it reported $79.8 million worth of revenue.

The racino opened on September 17th and to date has made a profit of $23 million for Penn National. Penn’s profit in January was just under $6.9 million, down from $7.1 million in December.
