Former Delphi buildings owner cited for unauthorized work

The owner of the former Delphi Packard buildings in Warren is in trouble again

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – The owner of the old Delphi Packard buildings in Warren is in trouble again.

On Wednesday, Warren building official Chris Taneyhill said he caught work being done inside Plant 8 by employees of Sergio DiPaolo. Taneyhill said this is the second time in a week that the workers were doing work in the building.

Dipaolo, along with Robert Phillips of Warren and Earnest Gallagher III of New Wilmington, are all going to be cited for two sets of charges, including working without a demolition permit and working without a contractor registration.

Dipaolo also has similar charges pending in Warren Municipal Court resulting from a story our station did on the buildings over the summer.
