FARRELL, Pa. (WYTV) – Jury selection is underway in Mercer County for a man accused in a fatal shooting during a botched robbery.
Police say Shawn Lee shot and killed Andrew Walko back in 2013 when he interrupted a robbery at his sons house.
The shooting happened in the middle of the street on Emerson Avenue in Farrell. Walko, who was out for his nightly walk with his dogs, bled to death in his own driveway across the street.
If convicted, Lee is facing a prison term of life.
Two other men have already pleaded guilty for the crime. Miguel Huey is serving three years in a state prison. Zachariah Owens is still awaiting sentencing.
