SHARON, Ohio (WYTV) – More than 600 people came out in Sharon Saturday for the 7th annual Snowball Crawl.
The event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Primary Health Network Charitable Foundation.
The foundation is about breaking barriers for individuals to receive affordable health care.
There was entertainment and activities were provided for attendees.
Foundation Director Cheryl Goldstone said the event supports several programs including free transportation.
“We provided 16,000 rides last year to those individuals who just have no way to get to our PHN network offices,” Goldstone said. “We also have a scholarship program. We award over $30,000 each year.”
The foundation offers services in Mercer, Lawrence and Beaver counties.
