COLUMBIANA (WYTV) – The smell of natural gas has prompted the closure of some roads in Columbiana.

According to a post on the police department’s Facebook page, Columbia Gas is checking a strong gas odor on South Elm Street between Duquesne and Pittsburgh streets.

Gas crews will start digging at South Elm, which is closed there.

Police are on the scene and no evacuation has been ordered yet.
