Power outage delays school start for Austintown Fitch High School

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A power outage at Austintown Fitch High School has put the school on a two-hour delay.

According to an Ohio Edison outage map, the power interruption was caused by damaged equipment.

It is not clear what caused the damage. Crews are working to restore power and estimate service will up and running by 8 a.m.

About 45 customers in the area are impacted by the outage.
