Residents escape Mercer Co. house fire

MERCER, Pa. (WYTV) – A fire broke out at a home on Clintonville Rd. in Mercer County Wednesday morning, doing extensive damage to the house but injuring no one.

The fire started at 917 Clintonville Road before 10 a.m. Wednesday. Residents were home at the time but made it out safely.

The Grove City, Mercer and Stoneboro Fire Departments responded to the fire. At one point, flames were poking through the rough of the structure, which sustained significant damage.

Officials were not immediately sure how the fire started.
