Deemer & Svetlak pitch a shutout for Poland

POLAND, Ohio (WYTV) – Poland’s Ally Deemer and Kristyn Svetlak combined for an 8-0 shutout win over LaBrae tonight. Deemer began the game and worked the first four innings (2 Ks, 3 hits). Svetlak took over the final three frames and threw a total of 29 pitches as she allowed just 3 hits. Amanda Wire went 3 for 4 batting with 3 RBIs. Brielle Nocera and Chloe Bush each had a pair of hits. The Lady Bulldogs improve their season mark to 10-5.

LaBrae’s junior Haley Davies was a perfect 3 for 3 from the plate including a double and a stolen base. Davies’ performance lifted her average to .449 (22-49).

The Lady Vikings have fallen in three of their past four contests. Tomorrow, LaBrae will play host to Liberty.
