YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Those involved with the Youngstown Business Incubator had the chance to show their stuff Wednesday morning.
Administrators with the Appalachian Regional Commission toured the Incubator campus downtown, including a number of businesses that specialize in additive manufacturing. The Commission’s co-chair said those looking for career opportunities have the chance to create their own jobs in the future.
“These are the tools in incubation, in STEM manufacturing, are the places where it is fertile ground for folks of all generations to create their opportunities,” ARC co-chair Earl Grohl said.
As part of their visit, administrators toured areas of the Incubator, as well as nearby Youngstown State University, where Commission grants were used to purchase equipment or help pay for employee training programs.
