YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Honda says it plans to recall about 380,000 more vehicles in the United States to address airbag problems.
Honda said the recall covers seven models sold in the United States in 2001 and 2002, including the Accord, Civic, Odyssey and CR-V.
The company says the airbag inflator on the driver’s side in these models could deploy with too much pressure and rupture the casing, causing injury or fatality.
Honda said it has fixed 19 percent of the recalled inflators. Some of the recalls date to 2013.
