"The Movement" celebrates the city of Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) — Believing God is not just one denomination…a group in Warren is welcoming anyone and everyone to join their movement.

And that’s exactly what they’re called. “The Movement.”

Warren members held a block party to celebrate baptisms and baby dedications Sunday.

With bounce tents and a band front and center, the pastor says they offer a service that’s different than what he calls “suit-and-tie.”

And they chose Warren with great expectations.

“The big thing with Jesus is hope and downtown Warren needs some hope and we want to bring hope to the hopeless and downtown warren is a great city, wonderful people, absolutely fantastic place to live and we thought why not do a church here for the hopeless,” said John Ramsey, campus pastor.

Coming up in July “The Movement” celebrates Love Week.

Hundreds of members from the group will invade Warren for seven days volunteering across the city and patronizing local restaurants.
