YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A husband and wife from this area will be spending the weekend in the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh after being arrested in connection with a shooting in Youngstown earlier this week.
Both Thomas Hull, 58, and Evgenia Hull, 33, were picked up by U.S. Marshals Friday morning in a section of Pittsburgh’s Hill District. Both are charged with attempted aggravated murder, according to an arrest warrant.
They are wanted in connection to the shooting of Larry Robinson Wednesday evening near the corner of Elm Street and Madison Avenue on the city’s north side, not far from the Youngstown State University campus.
Witnesses said the pair was following Robinson and the woman was shooting at him. Robinson’s SUV crashed into Dorian Books after the shooting.
Both suspects appeared before a federal magistrate in Pittsburgh Friday afternoon on fugitive from justice charges. They eventually will face extradition back to Ohio.
