Radar gun, hat stolen from Trooper’s car in Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) –   Warren police are investigating a break-in at an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper’s house.

According to the Tribune Chronicle, Trooper Marshall Williams’ personal car was parked at his Trumbull Avenue home Tuesday night when someone broke in and took his speed radar gun, Stetson trooper hat and a pair of Kevlar gloves.

The hat was found in his backyard and the radar gun and gloves were discovered in an abandoned stolen car on Kenilworth Avenue.

The equipment is valued at more than $2,000.

There have been no arrests.
