Youngstown, Ohio woman charged with murder in stabbing death of man

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Youngstown Police arrested a woman on the city’s northeast side early Tuesday morning, charging that she stabbed and killed a man, according to police reports.

Police charged Autumn Hines, 19, with murder. According to a summary document of the arrest, Hines fatally stabbed Rashad Bailey, 23, in the chest after he punched her.

According to a police report, officers arrived at a house at 1425 Maplewood Ln. around 11:50 p.m. Monday and found Bailey lying on the ground. Police called an ambulance, which came and treated Bailey. Just after midnight, police cleared the scene, arresting Hines, the report states.

“There was a relationship between the suspect and the victim,” Youngstown Police Detective Brad Blackburn said. “They had some children together. And apparently there was some type of altercation that led to her stabbing him.”
