SHARON, Pa. (WYTV) – Renovations will begin soon on Tiger Stadium in Sharon.
New concrete in and around the stadium, new fences, upgraded lighting and new sidewalks are all part of the improvements.
The work will get underway June 15 at a cost of $1.2 million. The money comes out of a $6 million bond issue for capital improvements the board took out in July.
Old mines under the filed need to be filled, but the school district has insurance to cover the cost.
