Eric White closed out the contest with a three-hit day while Dom Lipari drove in three runs and had two hits. All in all, the Bulldogs finished with 10 hits, were given first base on four balls six times and saw the opposing Wildcats commit six errors…Poland won the District Championship by defeating rival Canfield 12-2. The win gave the Bulldogs their sixth title in the last twelve years. Adam Knight tossed a three-hitter while striking out a trio of Cardinals. White and Anthony Calcagni each had three base hits.
