YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Police have arrested a man who they say is going to be charged with the Friday robbery of a bank in downtown Youngstown.
Youngstown Police told WKBN that robbery charges will be filed soon against Randy Jamison, 39, in connection with the robbery of Huntington Bank near the corner of Market St. and E. Boardman St. For now, police said they are holding him on a probation violation charge.
According to Mahoning County Common Pleas Court records, Jamison pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery. In October 2014, Jamison entered into five years of community control after a judicial release agreement, the records also state.
The original call about the robbery came in around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
