YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Youngstown Police have arrested a man who they say shot a relative at a funeral Wednesday afternoon.

Police arrested Richard Harris, 25, Thursday, charging him with assault and carrying a concealed weapon.

A family feud led to gunfire at the funeral service Wednesday and left one man in the hospital, according to Youngstown Police.

The shooting happened around 1 p.m. at Tod Cemetery on Youngstown’s north side, police said.

YPD said that the husband of a woman being buried got into a fight with other family members when a gun fell to the ground. The man then picked up the weapon and shot another relative in the arm, according to Youngstown Police.
