YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WTYV) – No real progress was made Friday between the Northside nurses’ union and the hospital.
Negotiations started at 9:30 a.m. Friday and wrapped up around 5:30 p.m. Union representatives said previously they were hopeful they would come to an agreement Friday, but Ohio Nurses Assocoation representative Linda Warino said that did not happen.
She said they passed proposals back and forth all day to no avail, but both sides are still talking. Another negotiation session is now scheduled for June 12. YGDNA’s work agreement with Northside expired Feb. 27, but the union has agreed to several contract extensions.
