YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Boardman man accused of raping two young female relatives over a decade ago was indicted Thursday on four additional charges.
William Toth, 44, was indicted April 30 on two counts of rape that could have landed him in prison for life. On Thursday, a Mahoning County grand jury indicted Toth on two additional counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition, according to court records.
Toth was arrested at an Ellsworth Road house in Berlin Township on April 23 by members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force and was taken to the Mahoning County Jail, where he remains on a $1 million bond.
Toth is accused of raping a relative in 2001 when the girl was 9 years old. She recently told police about the incident, saying she was too scared to come forward earlier.
Another child, who was 6 at the time, also has accused Toth of rape.
The allegations were reported to police through Mahoning County Children’s Services.
