WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WYTV) – Police raided a Wellsville home on Thursday morning, seizing more than $2,000 in drugs and arresting the woman who lives there.

Stephanie Molter, 35, was charged with tampering with evidence and will be arraigned Friday morning in Columbiana County Municipal Court. Columbiana County Drug Task Force director Lt. Brian McLaughlin said agents have been investigating the home at 408 Eighth St. for several months.

The home is owned by Ray Molter, but he does not live there, McLaughlin said. A Youngstown man and Molter’s boyfriend were at the home at the time of the raid, but have not been charged. However, McLaughlin said more charges are possible as the investigation continues.

He said investigators found $1,400 in cash, 4 grams of heroin, 11 grams of crack cocaine and assorted prescription medications. McLaughlin values the drugs seized at more than $2,000.

The drug task force was assisted by the Columbiana County Special Response team and Columbiana County Sheriff’s deputies.
