Reynolds tabs Hanley as girls’ hoops coach

GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania (WYTV) – The Reynolds School Board announced tonight that Jeff Hanley will take over the Lady Raider girls’ basketball program. Hanley spent 14 years at Sharpsville (2001-2015) guiding the Blue Darlings to the Class AA State Quarterfinal in 2013. Coach Hanley won 214 games before resigning in June.

The Lady Raiders finished the 2014-15 season with a District 10 playoff appearance (against Commodore Perry, 48-44 overtime loss) before posting a 7-15 record.

In Hanley’s first season, he took over a program which had compiled a winning percentage of 6% over the three-years prior to his arrival (4-63). Sharpsville finished with a 13-13 mark in 2001-02.
