WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Warren police officers were called to Trumbull Memorial Hospital early Tuesday morning, after a woman showed up with a gunshot wound to the right breast.
According to a police report, a 53-year-old woman told investigators she was walking down Southern Boulevard in Warren at around 3:30 Tuesday morning, when a vehicle pulled up and shot one or two rounds, one of which hit her.
A police report states that she told investigators she wasn’t going to seek treatment, until the wound started to cause discomfort.
TMH staff took her in for an x-ray to see if what she was hit with was still stuck in her body.
Warren Detectives are also investigating a shooting from North Feederle SE. In that incident, a 26-year-old male was shot and taken by car to Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
