Fire destroys two vacant houses in Youngstown

A fire destroyed two vacant houses on King Street in the south side of Youngstown earlier this morning

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Two vacant houses burned down on Youngstown’s south side early Thursday morning.

A fire broke out about 3 a.m. at one house along King Street, just off of South Avenue. Shortly after, the neighboring house caught fire.

Several calls came in to the WYTV 33 News newsroom reporting heavy smoke in the area.

Crews worked to contain the fire from spreading.

No injuries were reported.
