Niles police seek vandalism suspect

Niles Police are searching for the person responsible for vandalizing several public building throughout the city

NILES, Ohio (WYTV) – Niles police are looking for the person who vandalized several public buildings and several homes over the past two weeks, according to the department’s Facebook page.

Police said on July 5 and July 12, during the overnight hours, someone vandalized the Niles City Schools administration building, a school vehicle, the Niles Light Department substation and some homeowner’s property with spray paint.

The vandalism occurred in the North Rhodes Avenue area. The above images was taken at night from surveillance camera in the area.

There is a cash reward available for information leading to an arrest.
