CAMPBELL, Ohio (WYTV) – There’s some damage in the Campbell Police Department, thanks to an unruly detainee.
It all happened Tuesday night in a holding room when Tyjuan Daltorio, 23, of Campbell, was placed there after he was picked up for outstanding warrants.
Campbell Police Chief Drew Rauzan said they try to give suspects being detained some privacy, but Daltorio took advantage of that time alone.
“You are afforded some type of privacy, not complete privacy, but some type of privacy, which he obviously took to the extreme and then started destroying property in the moment,” Rauzan said.
Police say Daltorio also tried to call 911 from the holding cell’s phone, claiming he needed medical attention.
Daltorio was charged with multiple offenses including, drug possession, resisting arrest, obstructing official business, disorderly conduct, and driving under the influence. He is scheduled for a court appearance Friday.
