YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The New Legends of Streetball Clinic was held Saturday inside the McGuffey Centre in Youngstown.
Kids who wanted to hone their basketball skills were treated to the celebrity basketball clinic.
The aspiring hoops stars were led by former and current players from all over the country with the New Legends of Streetball league.
The clinic was run by the Finer Things Academy to raise funds for upcoming programs.
“Tonight, they will actually be playing some of Youngstown’s alumni who think they are really good at playing,” said Kathy Hammond, CEO of Finer Things Academy. “They are going up against them tonight at East High School.”
The celebrity basketball game begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at East High School in Youngstown.
Tickets to the game are $15 at the door.
