YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Area gasoline prices are going the way of crude oil prices: down! The AAA average for self-serve regular in the Youngstown-Warren market is down 10-cents in the last week. The average price according to the Tuesday morning survey is $2.56. In Toledo, the auto agency says prices are off over 20-cents a gallon for the week.
Locally, you can find gas in the $2.40 to $2.50 range in Boardman, Youngstown, Warren, Cortland and Salem. The Gas Buddy website indicates that a few stations in Cortland were selling regular at $2.41.9.
U.S. oil prices dipped below $50 a barrel for a time on Monday; global crude oil supplies are greater than demand.
