Suspected mobile meth lab stopped on Mahoning Avenue

Jamie Risbeck is facing multiple charges, including drug manufacturing

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) –  A traffic stop early Friday ended with a meth lab bust in Austintown.

Jamie Risbeck is facing multiple charges, including drug manufacturing. Police said it all started just after 2:30 a.m. Friday.

The officer stopped Risbeck when he failed to use his turn signal when he pulled into a driveway along Mahoning Avenue. Inside the car police found needles and a spoon containing heroin residue under a child car seat.

Investigators also found a bag in the trunk with plastic bottles containing suspected meth oil. The suspect told police he transports the items in return for money.

At last check, Risbeck was still in the Mahoning County Jail.
