Two vacant houses destroyed by fire in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Youngstown fire investigators are looking into two separate blazes that destroyed two vacant homes early Friday morning in Youngstown.

The first house caught fire in the 1500 block of Himrod Avenue, the second on Forest Glen Avenue.

That fire started some time between midnight and 12:30 a.m.

Youngstown firefighters had both fires out within 30 minutes.

Firefighters at the scene reported that the fires caused no injuries but have not determined their causes.
