Lisbon man killed in Pa Turnpike crash

(WYTV) – A Lisbon man was killed Friday morning when he was hit by a vehicle on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Pittsburgh.

The 73-year-old truck driver was checking tires on his commercial vehicle when he was struck. He had pulled onto the shoulder on the eastbound side of the toll road in Hampton Township in Allegheny County. The accident happened at milepost 42.

Pennsylvania State Police were not releasing the victim’s name. There’s no word on any charges.
