Farrell blasts Erie East


ERIE, Ohio (WYTV) – A huge first quarter for the Farrell Steelers and a strong defensive showing leads the Steelers to a 43-0 win over the Erie East Warriors on Friday night.

Jumping out early and often in the first quarter, the Steelers tallied 36 points in the first quarter and all 43 points in the first half.

Farrell out-gained Erie East 241 yards to 69 yards, including 143 yards on the ground to Erie’s 65.

Braxton Chapman and Malachi Newell led the Steelers in rushing with 45 yards a piece. Alex Myers completed five of eight passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
