2 dead, 2 injured in Shenango Twp. fire

SHENANGO TWP., Pa. (WYTV) – Two people died and two were injured in a fire in Shenango Township Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called about 3 a.m. to a house on Mosser Drive. When firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

An adult male and female and two children live in the house.

An adult and one child died in the fire. Two others were injured and flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh area hospital.

Neighbor Jacob Crumb said he woke up to sirens and emergency vehicles parked in his driveway.

“I looked outside and saw the house with pouring smoke out. Firefighters were trying to put it out,” Crumb said. “It’s horrible – just really can’t get your head around it.”

The state fire marshal is investigating.
