YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Youngstown Fire Department battled a fire at a vacant house on the northeast side of the city Tuesday afternoon.
The house, on Vaughn Ave., near the intersection with Wardle Ave., caught fire around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Workers eventually put the fire out, mostly by using a water cannon.
The fire had engulfed the house when fire department workers arrived there.
Officials are still investigating the case but told WKBN that they believe someone may have intentionally set the fire.
