YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Youngstown teenager facing murder charges as an adult made his first appearance in Common Pleas Court on Tuesday morning.
Stashawn Dates was 17 when he was arrested a year ago in the robbery and shooting death of Jesse Daviduk.
In August, he was bound over to face trial as an adult.
Authorities say the shooting happened during a drug deal gone bad in a parking lot on South Avenue.
If Dates is convicted, he faces life in prison.
