EDGEWOOD, Ohio (WYTV) – After dominating Girard in week two, the Hubbard Eagles kept the momentum rolling with a 33-7 victory over Edgewood.

The Eagles got on the scoreboard with 8:44 remaining in the first quarter when Cam Ingram connected with Brett Lupuchovksky for a 29 yard touchdown pass.

Edgewood’s Marcus Ernst would receive a touchdown pass from Alex Wisnyal from 37 yards out to tie the game in the second quarter.

But, it would be all Eagles from that point on.

Brandon Rios scampered in from 36 yards away with 1:49 remaining, giving the Eagles a one score lead going into the locker room.

George Hill would then start off a run of three Eagles rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter when he found the end zone from 41 yards away with 9:26 remaining. Rios would get his second score of the night with 5:30 left from 3 yards out. Tyreke Daniels would close out the trio of scores from 17 yards away with just 3:51 remaining.

The running attack was in Hubbard’s favor the entire night, out-gaining Edgewood on the ground 302-76.

Rios would lead that attack with 163 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns. Hill finished with 108 yards on 12 carries and one score.

Hubbard (3-0) will host Lakeview in week four.
