YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Rich Center for Autism received a $225,000 donation from money raised during a community golf outing.
The donation will be used for educating autistic students at the center.
“It’s so important to us that our parents do not have to pay for the services that they receive for their children. We raised almost half of our fundraising dollars from this particular event,” said Melanie Carfolo, executive director of the Rich Center.
The money helps the lives of 72 children who attend the Rich Center for Autism. They have received this fundraiser money from the tournament since the center opened 20 years ago.
