Shots fired into a Warren home overnight

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Approximately 16 shots were fired at a home on 600 block of Second Street SW in Warren overnight, and police are searching for the culprit.

The resident called police at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday to report that he arrived home to find several bullet holes in the front of his home, with damage to the interior walls. The man told police he believed the shots were fired overnight, while he was away, and police reported receiving a call from a neighbor about the incident overnight, according to a Warren City Police report.

Police recovered three shell casings and a slug from an interior wall, which were taken as evidence. Police are investigating the incident.
