Hubbard boys roll past Edgewood

HUBBARD, Ohio (WYTV) – Hubbard topped Edgewood 5-2 in boys’ high school soccer action Thursday night.  Ben Rubinic tallied a pair of goals and an assist in the win.

Andrew Summers, Aiden Sexton, and Bashar Rasoul also scored goals in the win for the Eagles.

Jake Shaffer finished with 7 saves in goal for Hubbard.

Ibrahim Bazyan and Tyler Pew accounted for the two Edgewood goals.  Goalkeeper Breyton Santee racked up 10 saves.

Hubbard improves to 5-2-3 on the season.  The Eagles will host Newton Falls on Monday, and Poland on Tuesday.
