WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Trumbull County Board of Commissioners and Warren Mayor Doug Franklin are collaborating to reduce the amount of blight and nuisance properties in the county.
The city and commissioners will meet later this week to develop a plan to attack properties throughout the county which are condemned, unkept or abandoned.
The initial partnership will be a financial one that will include resource sharing and shared costs.
The Trumbull County Engineer and the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office are also working on the effort.
A round table meeting is scheduled for Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. in the Trumbull County Commissioners Hearing Room. All Trumbull County communities are encouraged to attend.
