Hubbard boil alert lifted

HUBBARD, Ohio (WYTV) – The precautionary boil alert issued for City of Hubbard water customers has been lifted, according to City Service Director Daniel Livingston.

The boil advisory was canceled around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after laboratory results indicated that the water is safe to consume.

Residents were asked to boil their water as a precautionary measure while repairs were made to leaks on the water transmissions lines. The alert went into effect Monday night, and residents were also asked to limit water usage while the repairs were made.
