Humane agents: Poor conditions, dead animals at Delaware Twp. farm

DELAWARE TWP., Pa. (WYTV) – Mercer County Humane Society agents are at a house in Delaware Township Tuesday afternoon, removing several dead animals from the property.

Officials told WYTV that they plan to charge the owners of the house with animal cruelty, which could result in a fine.

There are ducks, horses, pigs and dogs at the house, according to the agents, and seven different animals were dead when agents arrived.

Humane Society agents said that a neighbor alerted them to the condition of the property, leading to their investigation.
